Right ET question

Featured Replies

I have a set of bbs rc041 17" 7.5j ET is 41 what mm adapters will I need I want try get the staggered look on the back so wil need bigger mm on the back but what will I need to get the wheels sitting right

Are they the bmw wheels mate? If so i think matt will be best to answer this but ide say 15mm on the front and 25mm on the rear should be pretty sweet. Depends how much poke you want though.

I had 20mm all round when i ran 7.5s all round..

And 20mm all round when i ran/ when ill be running my staggered set this summer. (7.5 front 8.5 rear)

These were my 7.5 all round with 20mm adapters.

They look staggered because the fronts have smaller tyres on.. wouldnt recommend 185/35s as dailys though.. its like there isnt a tyre there at all :D

The rears had 195/40s on.

I could be wrong, but won't you need spigot rings or something to fit those?

Nope.. u need adapters.. the adapter width is what he was enquiring about.

The adapters fit to the vw centre bore on the inside (car side).. and to the bmw centre bore on the outside (wheel side).. abit like hubcentric spacers..

Aaah, I see, cheers! So the adaptors change the bore sizes too, got ya. I was thinking they'd just change offsets, not bore as well.

I'll go back to standing in the corner.
