Getting cheesed off with,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Featured Replies

Yep, yellow octavia which I really shouldn't have sold.

It's been like that for years, it's the same with Fords and having to pay the 'Cosworth Tax' when buying parts.

elaborate, please

I bet she owns a none vRS Fabia too :p

I said 3 years ago the vRS would become the new 306 DTurbo and I've been proven right. It's why I got rid of mine when I did. Won't be long and they'll be under a grand running on red somewhere, then we'll get some ned in here asking can we wind the pump up to make it go quicker innit

On the "vRS is the new Saxo" subject...

All hot hatches go through the dodgy time... BUT! The reason you can still find "stock" mk2, 3, 4 & 5 Golf GTi's is because there's always people who love them for what they are, and not how quick they go for the pennies they cost...

Strangely, the Chav lot picking them up is a GOOD thing in some ways.. It means the value of the current models will become more stable. When I 1st got my vRS (2008).. most people gave it respect, but there was still a few that laughed at it's badge, and they tended to be the chavier types...

I'm just amazed someone would sell a car purely because someone else has one who they class as a less than desirable owner. :D That would go for any car, but to make it even more amusing thing to do, its a fecking skoda, they hardly had a great rep to start with. :D

Owned my car since September 2004 after buying it new and i wouldn't dream of selling up because of some chavs getting their hands on them. Once the chavs have gotten bored/written them off they'll move onto something else and i'll hopefully still have mine. :)

Wasn't the only reason. There were many other reasons

It's why I got rid of mine when I did.

Sorry, took this as it was the reason.

As I've said it was a big reason but I'm not listing every reason. Even more people would take offence

You have to remember that not everyone knows the differences between models.

Door issues, ok its obvious but it might as well be said so assumptions are not made.

Well that's my opinion...but I have a Vrs so mine might be different. Innit.

Wasn't there somebody recently asking questions about a VRS they owned? Something about it running 220bhp? I think quite a few people answered.......

This thread has gone waaaaaay off topic

Hate my VRS. Getting rid because I own one.

No idea about the Octy, but in the MkI Fab I think you have to pull out the 'ON' tab in the drivers side drink cubby. Push it back in to activate the rocket launcher.

Do you ever get the feeling some people just don't take some posts seriously?
