My poor little vRS. After last weekend's excursion to Donegal, my poor clutch I fear is on the way out.....especially with the smell of it.

Any have any ideas of the cost of a new one (standard or uprated) ?

If I remember correctly, JBS do an uprated (300 lbft) clutch for around

Go for the 400 lb/ft one I reckon. barely any more extra dosh and better quality.

excellent. More disturbing news is that, while I was out getting petrol (1.5 mile drive) I noticed a low rumbling noise coming from the front passenger side of the car when I decelerate and when I am idling at traffic lights. What could it be?

Methinks a trip to the dealer early tomorrow maybe on the cards..

Bad news. Looks like the clutch is on its way out...
