7 seater VRS estate?

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried adding the two rear facing seats that we find in some of the Audi A6 estates, Mercedes and Volvos? Would is work in the Octavia vRS estate? Also legal implications and requirements if known.

Rather than getting rid of my vRS for a people carrier I would rather look into getting and estate and doing something like adding the rear facing seats from another car if it's an option.

Opinions please.....

Your problem would be getting it through testing.

Seatbelts would need to be added etc and then you would need to get VOSA to test it to ensure it complies. You then need to apply to DVLA to get the V5 changed and then get the insurance sorted. Seems like a lot of hassle. Tell them to get the bus!.

Ford s-max 2.2 diesel, 200bhp,problem solved. Drill into the boot of your car you can wave goodbye to any resale value.

Surely the cost to do the above you'd be in A6 territory?

You also get to decide which is your least favourite child to put in the crumple zone.
