Does any body know when we can expect a new Octavia Scout, can't wait for ever.

Never mind the Scout, what about the ordinary 4x4 Octavia estate?

The new 4x4 has been on the UK configurator for a few weeks now. £21,490 for the base 1.6. I doubt we will see a Scout before next year. I prefer the stealth 4x4 of the regular one anyway.

Not impressed that SUK are not offering the Rough Road pack as an option on the 4x4 in the UK, whilst Ireland and the rest of Europe seem to get it. Perhaps they're hoping that as a result those wanting a 4x4 drive train with raised height/beefed up suspension and underbody protection will be forced in the direction of the Scout. No fair says I!

Auto Express stated in their recent road test of the 4x4, that the Scout is due at the end of this year.

Hmm, not bad, then. But I agree with Rab, why no rough road package?
