I've done a search on this before anyone asks, but I am using tapatalk which is crap at searching.

I'm looking at getting a mk2 octavia vrs and got a question about climate control. Been searching on the skoda website and have put down the car has to have air con but when I've looked into it, it doesn't say aircon just climate control. But some then say climate control with aircon. I was under the impression climate control had aircon am I wrong?

All vrs mrk2s came with dual climate with aircon as stnd.

If it has climate control, then yes, it has aircon too. Climate control is pretty much just automatic air conditioning.

I don't know about FL Mk II VRS's but on pre-FL VRS's dual climate was not standard on early ones, I have a 56 plate VRS without climate control. There was an optional pack that gave climate control, rear electric windows and the jumbo box which a lot of cars have,

IIRC when you put "climate control" temperature setting on low (i.e. below 60 degrees) it behaves like ordinary air con. and just keeps pumping out cold air.
