Fitted my Allard EGR delete kit tonight, i removed the pipe and fitted the blanking plate to the manifold, i also put black heat shrink on the "powerpipe" as Allard like to call it and its looks great can barely tell its there!

Iv left the 2 smalled pipes (vacuum and anti shudder?) pipes open and just tucked to the side, is that what the rest of you have done? hell of a suck on one of them!

Dont leave them uncovered will play havoc with your vacuum system!

Blank them off, golf tee or bolt then tape over / heatshrink

many things. . One of which is control the turbo actuator.

"thank god ya'll told me! praise to jesus" (in hill billy voice) and what i read about eating engine mounts because of no anti shudder? is it true?

Crap. My engine mounts have done 170,000 miles and the last 55,000 with no anti shudder, theyre fine, its just scaremongering.

Does the vacuum system not work the brake servo? Done the EGR removal to my Land Rover and the vacuum pipes had to be blocked off or it would affect the performance of the brakes, they would become very hard at the pedal and mucho effort required to stop. Is it the same for the Fabia? Has the EGR removal boosted performance?

Cheers man, mines got 60k so we'll see! Erm well when I took it off it was minging full of sludge, could of probably done with cleaning the manifold too but didn't have a gasket and I was on nightshift, I feel like its a tad smoother and Not as lumpy but this may be a placebo!

Looks a good-un. And you've blocked the exhaust-feeder pipe at the manifold so all good.

The shudder is definitely more pronounced but doubt the engine mounts will be trounced because of it. They have to put up with the diesel lump in the first place so are likely to be fairly tough.

I think the throttle response is better. Its noticeable enough to me so I'm happy and now have some red silicone under the bonnet to match the car.
