Rear wiper

Featured Replies

Hi all I know there is a thread about the rear wiper assembly but my question is is there supposed to be something on the wiper arm to point the water to the window as mine just spurts out the cap also when you take the cover off the cap it's sprays out water about 8ft behind lol, any one come across this before or have a pic of there rear wiper with the cap off so I can see if mine is missing something

Yes, there's like a little plastic nozzle with a hole in the end of it to direct the water. It only pushes in and is very small and fragile.

Oh ok mine is missing then lol don't suppose you could stick up a pic

I'm sure that that nozzle is available on its own, might find the p/n later if you want.

One thing though, before you go and order in a new nozzle, I'd reckon that you should check if the pipe the nozzle fits on to is rotating with the wiper arm - it shouldn't, so if it is, then it's a full repair kit you need as outlined on one of these other current rear wiper threads.

All you need to do mate is lift up the little cap where the wiper arm is bolted on and you should see it, pushed in :)
