Hoses and catch can ?

Featured Replies

I have a vrs and am planning on stage 1 map in the near future but I am wanting some help with hoses.

I have seen the forge etc kits for coolant, turbo etc but have also seen mentions of using 4mm silicone tubing bought by the meter for replacing vaccuum hoses. Is it worth doing? And does anyone know any threads to recommend which I could do with seeing? Anyone know of a walkthrough anywhere?

I have been doing my own searches both on here and through google and have not really found anything of use. But I have ended up slightly sidetracked and found

Is a setup along these lines of any benefit to the vrs or is it something to avoid?

It definitely collects plenty of gunk from the engine, so yes it's of benefit and replaces some of the stock lines which are prone to splitting.
