New car is in the country but...... :-/

Featured Replies

Told yesterday that my Greenline Fabia is now in the country.... hopefully my honda can last the couple of weeks till I get it!

My driving license has my old address on it (and is an old one with no photo) so I've been told I will need to bring a bill to confirm my new address but ....

now I've just realised that my V5 also has the old address - will this be a problem do you think. I think I might be able to find a letter with that address on it too - will that be enough do you think?

Also I can't find my MOT certificate.... can you tell i've only recently moved house and have everything that I put in a safe place now can't be found (and I'm also very unorganised!)

Mot you can get re printed at any mot garage as its all online now.

Ah - so the MOT is an easy one then.... I'll pop in tomorrow

My V5 was in my old address when I gave it to my dealer last week, I pointed it out to him and he said it doesn't matter as they're transferring ownership and address anyways.

£1000 fine for incorrect driving license details if stopped

Yes - I know about the fine :-/

I'll send if off as soon as I get my car - would have sent it just after I agreed to buy my car but then got a phone call to say there was a red greenline coming off the production line that hadn't been claimed so I got it way ahead of the original estimated time!

If you have got a chip passport dvla can get your photo off it so you do not have to send a photo
