Hopefully someone may be able to help me out with a little info

I am buying a Superb elegance from the UK, but live I in Germany. On my previous cars, I have had to buy/fit continental headlights for when i am abroad.

Question: Does the Skoda Superb elegance 170 DSG come with adaptive headlights?

i.e. can I just switch them over somehow?

All UK spec Elegance have adaptive headlights, but you will still need to replace the headlight units for long term use abroad. The travel mode flat beams the lights electronically and disables the adaptive function. The tourist mode does not comply with german lighting requirements for a long term import, as many a forces member here will confirm. You would need to replace the headlamps, and have the car ECU coded to act as if its LHD.
