TOOLING HELP NEEDED IN KENT

I decided today would be a good day to replace the lower wishbones on my Alfa Romeo 156, typically 2 hours per side....

I have been working on it since 2pm (writing this at 8:43 pm) and I have made a big **** up, result is i need a set of Spring compressors ASAP!

if anyone in the Medway area of kent, specifically Walderslade can help me out I would be incredibly grateful!

yes ok, i know i have ****** up big time! but everywhere is now shut and i have tried every other alternative to not using spring compressors!

Can't you place something under the spring , lower the car onto it and compress it that way ? Giving you access to the job

Mobility cars. Are they worth it

I currently got a 2008 octavia vrs but I've become a bit disabled over the years need my hip replaced ect Now I need an automatic and I can get a car on the mobility scheme. Has anyone got experience with this. I like the look of the new leons and noticed you can get them and they cover the insurance and everything. but would i be better off getting a used one and putting the money towards that instead

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands.
