Can anyone tell me if quantum Longlife III oil will it do my vrs the spec is 504 00/507 00 never serviced the car so any help would be good.

Actually over specced, quantum platinum is whats specced but for the slight difference in price id rather have the longlife 3

Why do you think it's better?

The difference between 505.01 and 507 is the low sulphur/ash content for the dpf. Other than that they are the same. The 507 also tends to be 5w30. Personally I'd prefer the thicker 5w40.
