Do you think it could fit a Rapid?

Not sure if the new style airbag will fit this...

I don't think the Rapid airbag will fit and the buttons rpobably won't work

Got the full mfsw in mine but just lacks thumb grips and its not that thick for my liking.

a great upgrade for a basic car

Offers considered

I have a FL 2010 octavia, is this a straight swap? Do I need it coding? No maxidot in my car, does that make any difference?

You probably need a Highend steering controller and the airbag mfsw loom

Oddly enough I fitted a mfsw to a Vrs and it already had a highend controller, although this may have been a warranty repair earlier.

So best to check

You will have limited functions without maxidot. but you will have control over the radio and phone if fitted

Eddie, could I use my current airbag from my 07 elegance?

Hey there Eddy, I have a MK2 Octavia 1.9 TDI. Could your steering wheel be fitted on my car? Also, will you consider shipping it to EU? I'm from Romania.

How about the airbag? do you still have it? I would like to purchase a complete set (steering + airbag).

Also, could you let me know what other parts I might need for the retrofit to be 100% functional?

My steering wheel looks like the one in this picture:

Thanks in advance.

Hi Eddie

I have a Feb 2012 Octy vRS with Columbus and Bluetooth (no maxidot). Could you advise of the wheel you have for sale will fit my car ? I would of course want to be able to control my sound system and telephone functions. How difficult are these to fit (I believe you are a bit of an expert at these things). I assume I would also need to buy some additional parts for it to work ?

I really miss not being able to control my stereo and phone from the wheel :-(

Any pointers and advice regarding fitting would be greatly appreciated - am genuinely interested

Thanks

Bernie

Have PM'd you.
