Sorry to seem a bit dim, but are these track days?,

If so When are you/ everyone else going?

and will the TDi be able to handle it?.

Yes they are track days, apologies for not making that clearer.

A TDI would be fine, I had good fun with a chipped Golf IV TDi on Sunday. It may not have had as much power as me, but the torque was huge.

You really do get all types on the track, funniest for me on Sunday was the guy in the VW Caddy Hi roof TDI van! :mrgreen: Think he'd used it to tow a caterfield, discovered it was too wet so thought sod it and drove the van round instead.

Not sure which date(s) I'm going to do yet. Should I put up a poll for a possible mini-meet?

let me know what dates you are doing and I'll come across, probably won't go on track (need new tyres, as always :lol: ) but certainly up for a mini meet.
