need some oil for my pd170. google says ' if you have the dpf, get x oil'

I now have no dpf. what oil do I need to top up with please?

DPF's usually need a low-ash type of oil ;but there's a lot more to oil specs than that, so for example low-ash can also be combined with better lubrication qualities.

VAG PD motors make high demands on their fuel pump cams, so I'd say use the best oil you can get. It's 507 for me every time.
