Water and under bonet question

Featured Replies

So I'm cleaning out my coolant and have to use a hose to fill it up and clean it. How bad is it to get water onto other parts?

New to being a car owner so don't want to mess things up so sorry for a possibly stupid question.

You'll get temporary problems if you get water onto the alternator, or the High Tension electrics (petrol engines only). These will clear when the water drains/evapourates off.

Thanks.
