the underside of my front bumper has got caught on the kerb and has been pulled down and now catches even more and scraps on speed bumps etc, I have noticed that this is a common occurrence on the Octavia, has anyone had this and been able to rectify it?

How badly was it pulled and was it the vRS bumper or the normal one?

It may fix itself if you leave the car parked faced into a strong sun for several hours.

its the standard car, its not bad, its just a case that it now catches on large speed bumps and that.

Oh right hadn't thought of that, I shall try rversing back onto drive to face the sun for a few days

To speed up the sun method you could probably hair dryer/heat gun it carefully. Look up compressed air dent pulling. Should give you some interesting guides.
