Specifically, the Porter Cable 7424 and the Cyclo 6CE dual head. Anyone have experience with/opinions on these?

Nope - I am a fan of the rotary EP801 and the D/A DAS6 I use now. Not sure whether either of them are made. Ultimately I expect the majority come out of Taiwan or similar anyway.

As i understand it, the DAS-6 Pro is the UK equivilent to the Porter Cable which does get good reviews by people I know who own one. Not sure if that helps?!?

Thanks. I was following a couple on eBay that started off fairly cheap, but the bidding on there is mental. I think sometimes the polishers go for virtually they'd cost to buy new. Today, though, I managed to snap up a DAS6 Pro + pads for £60 BuyItNow, so I'm pleased with that.

Had a porter cable for near 10 years, i mind buying it when a few of us only used the meguiars forum the good old days.
