I realise that you can also use these for a bike rack but that's the only

real use anybody with a vRS could have for it.

Daft really when the car has so much grunt, yet you can tow with the

SDI which has 65bhp.

How does the bumper need modifying? Also, any of the necessary electrics needed? I am interested in the long term to have a removeable tow bar on mine.

the vrs near me with a tow bar has a 8" by 3" hole right in the centre of the bumper so the tow bar fits. not sure if this ones same?

The bumper needs a small section cut out of it but if your interested wee can swap bumpers and the the electrics are easy to swap

Just in the underside, not out the bit sitting vertical?

My bumper is unique to my car, so swapping not an option. I'd be curious to see it in situ. with bumper mods.

No, I have had the vRS exhaust outlet "dimple" smoothed off, so its just a clean line. This is because my exhaust goes out the side. Looks like this:-

Will fit on any fabia. I expect it to fit better on a non vRS fabia personally.

I had a tow bar on my fabia when I bought it, two lines about 10mm x 10mm had to be cut out the bottom of the bumper where it curved up.

Yeah, I wouldn't care about the underside of the bumper.

I'm pretty sure you would be able to tell more on a vrs bumper, mine was a standard fabia and you could just see the cut marks on the bumper.

Mines still sitting in the shed and if anyone does a search they will see I made a thread the same as this trying to give mine away!
