Oh damn I saw a pair in local scrapyard in good condition, them adapters are pricey! I take it they will stick out the arches aswell? Do you no wat sort of wheels would fit straight on? Thanks for the reply

Sean.

Anything thats 5x100! with the correct centre bore, ie not Subaru or Celica.

Take a look at this thread: Fabia Alloys Archive

As for those wheels, buy them if they're cheap and sell them on Wheel-Whores make a few quid, especially if you can polish them up yourself. :)

As Gobsheene says there's a long old list of VAG wheels with PCD of 5x100 that'll fit.

Anything off a:

mk1 Audi A3/S3

mk1 Audi TT

mk4 VW Golf

9n Polo (this one)

mk1 Seat Leon

mk4 Seat Ibiza (this one)

mk1 Skoda Octavia

Be careful of offsets (ET number) to make sure they don;t sit too far out (and become illegal) or too far in (and foul your brake calipers), and make sure you buy the correct size tyres for your car rather than for the car they came off.

For example mk4 Golf's wore 16" alloys with 205/55/16 tyres while i had to fit 205/45/16 for them to go on my Fabia VRS.
