Finally Sorted

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have posted a couple of times about my car having a hunting problem when stopped on a hill or at traffic lights. The car would hunt for the correct idle position and to sort it I would rev the car to 2000rpm and hold it for a second or two. My local garage now has VCDS on a laptop and they reset my ECU to factory settings, since doing this the car feels so much better and no more hunting. So anyone with a similar issue give it a go.

I read you were talking about a throttle body in another thread?

Did you change it!?

If so that was the issue all along! You need to do a throttle body reset on it
