It is an Elegance 2.00 TDi DSG Race Blue with Bi- Xenons,

PLEASE help an OAP of 76 .!!!!!

Just to say no idea how to put phots on the site. SORRY

Congrats, I'm sure you'll love it

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be over the moon with it, loving mine!!

You should look for signs of awesomeness, if any awesomeness is missing, complain!

Just have a look around the car make it's all in tip top condition on the inside and the out and that what you ordered is all there.Good choice of Trim and colour good sir!

Nearly as good as denim blue but hey, no-ones perfect!!!!!

Any blue is good, but then blue is my favourite colour so I may be somewhat biased ha ha

Same here - my wife has a Wedgwood Blue Honda Jazz, I've got a Denim Blue Octavia and we have an Aqua Blue Porsche 997.

Really wanted a colour other than blue for the Skoda but failed!

Go round the car very carefully and slowly both inside & out. Don't allow the dealer to rush you!

Check everything you have ordered is where it should be - when I picked mine up new, the leather seats were somewhat spoilt by a cloth seat squab in the rear offside seat - yes, really!

Also check for any minor damage - alloys, door edges etc.

Once you drive away, any minor faults will be down to you!

Above all though, enjoy picking up a new car you have specced to your personal preference! It's one of the best parts of a car enthusiast's overall car journey!

Enjoy it and good luck!

Everything I own would be blue if possible, but sadly most things come in either black or white so I jumped at the chance to have a blue car.

Aqua blue sounds quite nice, is that a lighter blue or more dark than the denim?

Aqua is close to Race Blue, maybe a shade more subtle. Answering this with my iPad so can't attach a photo.

I shall give it a quick Google image search. The only blue I didn't like, is the petrol blue......

I prefer the race blue, still a nice blue though the aqua one

I'd agree about petrol blue, each to their own though! I'd agree about Briskoda though, two months ago all I new about Octavia's was that taxi drivers love them - pretty good recommendation - but learnt so much here!

Well I how am the proud owner of (at last) OCTAVIA 3 I thought my L&K was good but the is take some beating,

NOW about pics, I woudnt know the first thing about putting pics on to the site, I can at a pinch put them ion E Mails but don't know how otherwise SORRY

But the car is great

how old was your L&k?

not sure if I am 'downgrading' from my L&K (2010) to an elegance. some things I might miss, but there is a lot of upgrades that I should enjoy

Place pictures on flickr and send us the link

Take it back and complain it's missing it's vRS badges 18inch alloys and rear spoiler LOL.

Seriuosly though enjoy your new car. Previous pics I've seen of it in Race Blue have looked very special.

If you want to post photos First thing you'll need to do is compress them below 100kb otherwise they won't upload to Britsky. You can do this by right clicking on the photo in windows explorer and 'open with' ms office. You can compress the photos there in the edit mode. Next you'll need to register on a site like photobucket which is free. Upload your pics to PB open the pic up and copy the IMG code, then paste that on brisky. Cheers Ade
