I noticed the other day my glow plug light didnt light up but thought I was looking at the wrong side of the clocks so took no notice.

I checked mine time and time again this morning and come to the conclusion... It doesn't have one?!

Any reason for this?

The cars also got an egr delete, decat Etc and has been remapped. I'm woundering if they had the engines agent light and glow plug light mapped out for some reason??

Maybe the remap might of stopped it working? Whats the chances of the bulb that displays the glow plug failling? Get it on VCDS see if you get all 11111 on the turn of the key

Is this in the Ibiza hutchy?

I noticed that the wifes Cupra doesn't have a few of the lights you would expect to be be there. Fog light and a few others which I cannot recall.

It defo has an ignition coil that lights up on start up though.

Perhaps you could try a dashboard light test to see if they are working?

if its the new fabia is the bulb there ?

It's on my fabia yeah. I haven't pulled the clocks out yet to check if the bulb is behind it just thought I'd check for an obvious reason first if most people get them mapped out or somthing...

Nah it's on the fabia, running them both at the minute, whichever one I fancy hah.

Anyway I've noticed that on the ibiza to, it has a glow plug light but is missing quite alot of the ones you would expect.

The fog light ones etc are on the light switch itself! Like the polo, very stupid.

More than likely there was a fault causing it to be permanently on or flashing so its had the clocks pulled out and some sticky tape put over it.

The above is quite likely, we took a Fabia in that had 3 lights blanked out with sticky tape. For information, there are no bulbs in the instrument cluster, all lighting is by way of LEDs.
