My fabia vrs mk1 front passenger door is playing up and will not unlock sometimes. Even from inside it will not unlock with the handle. Any ideas please? Its not all the time but it is getting worse.

I had the same problem and eventually the door wouldn't open.

I got it fixed at Glenn Harrop, VAG specialist in Stretford for £240.

(New door lock mech. fitted)

It was a very awkward job as the door trim has to be removed

with the door locked and the seats in situ, so l advise you

to get it sorted before it becomes deadlocked.
