Sony Mini-DVD HandyCam- Value?

Featured Replies

Not sure of the exact model but it looks something like this:

Bought it brand new many years ago but it has probably had less than 20 hours usage.

What do you think it is worth?

(Please note this isn't an offer for sale - if I do choose to sell I will advertise correctly in the For Sale Section)

Honestly?

Not much £10/20 maybe less.

Mini-dvds are old tech now compared to the HD/SD camcorders you can get cheap now.

Have a look on Ebay and follow some sales that'll give you a better idea

Will have a look tonight - can't get the Bay at work!

I didn't think it would be much - has a case/bag so perhaps £40 at a push.

Shame cos it's a nice little bit of kit.

Film quality on these is pretty good. We replaced ours with an HD one as it was making some funny noises, but in truth, there's not a massive difference in picture quality.

If you're not desperate to sell, box it up, put it in the loft and be amazed in 30 or 40 years time how much someone will bid for it on ebay then :o
