Anyone know if there is ANY difference at all between the pre and post facelift versions? (Estate)

Look the same on thje face of it, but just wondering if any of the brackets and fastenings are slightly different, thus deeming a pre f/l version useless for a post f/l ?

Am fairly sure there are no changes to the rear bumpers to the vRS estate or hatch.

£120 (negotiable hopefully) for a second hand 2008 bumper, or £260 for a new one, both plus paint.

From the piccies, it does look identical.

They are identical.

I think the parking sensors (if fitted) changed slightly but the outer diameter remains the same so they should still be interchangeable.

Don't ask...oh you just did.

Never put a serious mark (beyond repair magnitude) on a car in all the decades I've been driving I'm (was) proud to say.

Edge of a kerb railing.

Checked my mirrors before reversing for 10 feet at about 1mph. It was hidden by the 'c' post.

I WAS very upset with myself, to puit it mildly.

My only defence is that 1) the parking sensor didn't pick it up until I'd virtually hit it, and 2) I had been feeling decidely unwell on Monday afternoon, so bad at one point that I had to pull over for a few minutes.

Pretty lame excuses granted, and only myself to blame.

I'm thouroughly ashamed driving it in the state it's in at the moment, and that's why it's got to be sorted pronto.

Bodyshop friend is going to paint it for me for beer tokens fortunately.

Rear light body mounting has been pushed in slightly, so that's got to be re-jigged too.

Just waiting for chummy from Wakefield (Far Eastern bretheren I suspect, as conversing is proving 'slightly; difficult tbh) to get back to me, hopefully accepting my offer of £100 and willingness to come and personally collect on Saturday.

Just need a rear light cluster now....anyone?

must be new paint. there are no cracks and fixing are inches.

I only have the bumper is what the picture

Missed mashing the tailgate by less than 1/4 of an inch!
