Yes must admit ive yet to see a car I actually like in black, even when its just dusty it looks drab.......gonna change it but no idea what to because I still want the light interior.

Had a few black cars look great clean but soon dirty again,,,,,,,,,

not had a white car for years so got the vrs but white is the same as black.........

really wish I had got the metalic grey colour

I ordered:

Right done it, finally changed my order to ............................. White

Gone back to my original gut instinct which was the wow factor in the showroom when I saw the white octy after only going in for my yeti service.

Feel better now as have just been back to the showroom and the gorgeous white one was still there, so choice made, order changed, £700 saved.

Sigh.

I love my white octavia 3.

It was the first and only colour choice I considered. It's also free! (Well sort of!?)

Good choice!!

Enjoy it when you get it!!

Cheers m8 yes I think of all the colours it is almost perfectly suited for the car, some colours clearly don't work, but this certainly does.

Glad there are other white Octy owners

I too like White. But my dealer told me white is the colour preferred by most Taxi drivers. So, i went for Red, which i think is not a bad colour going by the release pictures. I havent seen red octavia MKIII live yet.

I was torn between red and white to be honest as the launch pictures of the red were lush but like you I never saw a red Octy at the 2 dealers when I went looking whereas the white one was in the showroom and it was stunning.......went in to take my 3yr old yeti in for a service not bothered about anything else and came out with an Octy order lol

Mine is being bulit next week. Hopefully will be with me in 3-4 weeks time. Mine will be first red on briskoda i guess, Unless any proud MKIII owners in Red can post pictures here.

I'm afraid will not be first one. Mine is in UK now. Probably will be delivered at the end of this week to my dealer. So hopefully collect next Saturday.

Finally, Red Colour.   Please could you post pics when you received it.

Race blue seems to be most wanted. But not here in Romania...

Initially I wanted Rosso Brunello Metallic, but my better half didn't like that. My 1st car was white and I owned in the past a Cappuccino Beige Metallic Renault Clio Symbol and a Race Blue VW. My current Skoda is the same as the Renault (cappuccino beige), so I wanted something different. Hence my choice was Petrol Blue Metallic and I hope I've chosen right.

Interesting - I went from a Sahara Beige Metalic Octy 2 to a Petrol Blue Metallic Octy 3!  Very similar!

I love the colour - I think the petrol blue suits the car really well (and I like the way the colour changes slightly according to the light - sometimes it looks more greeny blue than pure blue). I am certainly happy with the colour choice.

Can you please post some pictures with your Skoda? I couldn't find many pictures, if any, with this colour (petrol blue).

Thanks.

I ordered the estate in Brilliant Silver. At first glance it looked a bit boring, but as I looked closer at the car on display at my local dealership, I saw that it contrasted with the black parts of the the car's body very nicely. I'm really glad that I didn't choose a more flashy colour, though Corrida Red also looks stellar - even though it's not a metallic.

I was told I could have another Race Blue, and as Matt black was an option I went for Steel Grey, basedon the picture in the brochure (the one with the lanterns)

I have also chosen Steel Grey after seeing one in the showroom. The dealer helpfully gave us the colour folder they have & honestly the colours in the brochure are nothing like the actual. I went intending to buy petrol blue but changed my mind when I saw the actual colour. I know it has to be a personal choice but do really like Steel Grey, just have to wait till Sept.to see it in the flesh.

my wife and I are terribly predictable..its always red or black

red mk1 vrs , black mk2 vrs, red facelift vrs, now black alfa..next will be a red mk3 vrs

I think some colours come in and out of fashion, some colours are just safe bets

Candy white because it-s free and looks good. Without cost blue color is not so great :(
