Will a MK4 golf mirror be the same as the vRS one as a pal just gave me one, to see if it fitted, but before i start fiddling around with the door card and what not, are the connectors the same where the mirror unplugs from does anyone know?

The glass itself is a straight swap... Not sure about the casing etc

Pretty sure the casing is a different shape as when I parked up next to my mates Mk4 I was comparing because I want the blue glass that's on the Gold mirror's

The mirrors are slightly different at the back.

Also the glass is not just a straight swap if you get heated mirrors as the connections are on the other side so would need to get some wire to connect it up.

Search on the forum I think there is a guide for doing this.
