hi guys, looking to get cruise fitted to my vrs - we can handle the software side of things, but in terms of the fitting, do you need to take the steering wheel and airbag off?

Where does everyone buy the stalks from?

you can get a kit off ebay ... a seller called number1for skoda ( rainworth skoda dealer), or your local dealer / tps ..... the wheel / airbag does have to come off but it is a dead easy job ..... do a few searches there are a few different guides knocking about

I bought mine from skoda themselves. Was £68. Looks easy enough to do. Hoping to attempt it tomorrow

I did it the other week,ran the white wire direct to the ecu via a grommet behind the glovebox because getting at the block connector on the bulkhead requires taking lots of the dash out and is a bit of a pain to do

Thats exactly how i done mine.

I done mine a couple of weeks ago. Airbag off, steering wheel off, glovebox out, lots and lots of plastic things unscrewed and out, wire through bulkhead, soldered and heat shrunk the white wire into the edu blah blah.

If you're slightly iffy on doing stuff like this get Tech1e to do it for you. I'll have a go at anything because it makes no difference if i mess it up or not because i dont hahahaha.

I charge £150 to Freedom members (£10 discount) but I have much smaller overheads etc than a big company.
