Take away the kidney grills and the badges and it looks like a Hyundai coupe in those pictures.

I dont get it?

A 4 series?

Really....

Does this sit between the 3 and 5 presumably?

and what about the 3 Series GT - what the hell is all that about, what's wrong with just buying a Touring?

Whens the 2 series coming out?

All the coupe models are now to be even numbered.

You might see a 2er, the 3er coupe is now a 4er, a 5er coupe is now a 6er.

The GT editions are not coupe, but a business hatchback edition.

What a load of tripe!

Not sure why this gets a bashing. I think this is a beautiful evolution of the 3 Series Coupe. Having that 245bhp petrol model for 31k seems good value for such a premium car.

What's the problem?

They are just giving what would be the new 3 series coupe a different number.

kinda similar to the A4/5 and A6/7 thing Audi do?

And that BMW did with the 5 and 6 before them.

Yeah but i just dont get it.....

Stupid if you ask me

It's just what they decided to do.

Like a passat and the cc i guess.

It seems to be the marketing fashion for now to split the same car into different series.

Can't say I'm keen on the design. The new 5 is quite nice but the rest of the BMW range doesn't do it for me.

It looks like 3-Series Coupe's ugly sister :giggle:

2-Series was launched quite a while ago :hi:
