Can-Am Spyder RT-S

One of these things passed me last night, really couldn't work out what it was:

In the end had to remember the registration plate and do some investigation. Was batting along on the motorway around 70-75mph and didn't look that stable to be honest.

Looks like they cost around £18-£20k.

What an ugly monstrosity!

Wasn't one of them on top gear a few series ago?

If it's a Can-Am, shouldn't it have a big block Chevy in the back?

Or does that date me?

Well, I was thinking more of a 5 litre 12 cylinder boxer turbo, and a 16 (sixteen) cylinder derivative back in the factory in case a 1200bhp (race tune) engine wasn't enough!

There are few super trike-bikes about but the names escape me.

I was thinking of the Grinnall Scorpion but that's a car-trike.
