Deleting old software

Featured Replies

I have a demo of kaspari anti virus software that has expired. I have tried to uninstall it but it fails. When I manuall try to remove it, it will not budge. Is there any software I can download that will remove it?

Hi

Are you talking basic files or deep clean of the registry? Not that I'm an expert, but the usual routes are to do a system restore back to a point before the installation, or try their web-site, though more info is usually thrown up by a Google on Groups search (e.g. Kaspari +uninstall).

If you are a member of a computer forum, then official info is of course the best route - e.g. Experts on Line in the UK or CNET in the US - where you can ask a question.

My best suggestion, though someone with direct knowledge might reply later of course.

Mo

There are plenty of software removal programs, such as Add/Remove plus. Go to somewhere like http://www.tucows.com/ or http://www.webattack.com/

Download a trial version, or freeware version and you will be laughing.
