My exhaust has seen better days so i wanted to find out how much it would be to get a full new exhaust on my car, not looking for stainless unless its at a decent price, i am wanting to put a cherry bomb on the end instead of a normal backbox (dont hate :L). I dont have the first clue at what i should be looking for? ive found it hard to find kits for my engine as most ones for fabias are all vRS based.

It will not only waste your hard earned money you will look a TW** driving down the road in it.

A couple of your mates might like it and you might think it sounds like you’re in an Enzo….

But trust me the rest of the world will laugh at you.

In years to come you will even look back at yourself and laugh.

If your exhaust is gone then just ring around and get the cheapest standard replacement you can. Save the money you would have spent for your next car; no matter how many years that is away.

Or if you want to spend the money go get yourself some new good tyres. Your car will get off the line better, stop better, corner better and be safer – now that’s actual value from your money.

You can get the cat for ~100 on ebay and a generic ss back box for ~40. Unsure on manifold prices.

I know what hes saying and i will laugh at it thats why i wanted to do it, but to be old and wise you must first be young and stupid

 

The reason i want to get a new exhaust is that mines rusted and falling to peices as well as it blowing slightly, so i wanted to have a new one put in rather than bodging it

Go for it mate! Enjoy your car. Although our 1.4's could do with a twin scroll turbo and a supercharger.
