Havent they removed the chrome surrounds from builds now?!

My dealer assured me that my car would get them.  My order was within the tiny window where it was possible.  I am somewhat nervous TBH...

Ahh, good luck with that then. Speaking to our local dealer yesterday and they were expecting it on a couple of cars and they came without them so I have my fingers crossed for you.

Haha - and I only went for chrome roof rails to match the windows, so it could be an interesting conversation if it comes without the trim...  But made more complicated because it's a company lease car, so just asking for £300 back isn't going to work (unless it's in used tenners!)...

My hatch came with the chrome, ordered separately after initial order, and I can't see any reason to suggest the supply issues are quality related, in fact based on the B-Pillar gap issue on non-chrome cars, the chrome version seems to have better fitting water seals around the B-Pillar and along the window line.  I think there must be other reasons for delays, personally, I suspect more of the supply chain has been affected by the flooding than they are letting on? :think:

Strangely the spec I ordered in May, can no longer be selected on the configurator and some of the options I order require others that I didn't want.

Could this be part of cause of the delay?
