Hi all,

Over the last few weeks I've had the engine die immediately on starting from cold on 4 or 5 occasions. It restarts straight away and runs fine afterwards. It's got 130k on it, regularly serviced, and this has never happened before. Heading into town today the engine management light came on - do you think these could be linked? Haven't had a chance to get it scanned yet, so no codes to help. Couple of new vac hoses solved a previous management light issue.

VCDS scan needed, it could be many things but there will be a code stored to help pinpoint to the problem.
