I have a53reg vrs with over boost fault , any one had a luck with cleaning vanes ?

Overboost sounds like either the connection on manifold or turbo sensor faulty if its not that then try n75 valve, its n(something) 1.8t vag engines have same valve and it can fail causing overboost/underboost issues. Its job is to try and keep boost stable and if for example TC was active it would open and reduce boost until you got traction again, amoung other situations

Are you using a remap/tuning box??

Wait isnt 53 plate a mk1 vrs??
