Advice please - anti roll bar set - Eibach vs R32 vs Neuspeed

Featured Replies

Hi, I think I'm going to get an anti roll bar set for my Octavia VRS.  I've seen an Eibach 22mm front & 25mm rear set for a good price.  Does anyone here run this setup?  If so how is the quality and ease of fitting?

I'm hoping for less body roll and a little less understeer but not too much.  My only worry is that fitting both front and rear may not improve the understeer?  Or it looks like I could get an R32 front and Neuspeed rear for about the same price.

Which would be better?  Thanks.

R32 front and Neuspeed 28 mm rear is what I run and it's awesome.

I have a r32 front and eibach 25mm rear, works well altho i need some new beam mounting brackets as they are rubbish but not sure what they are like new as i got it 2nd hand

Thanks - after I posted this I found a couple of threads saying that the Eibach doesn't fit properly out of the box and that you need to modify it - so I was coming round to the R32 front / Neuspeed rear idea anyway.

lol, remember how that worked out for you....dangerous rear end and all that?

you sorted it btw?

OU51, 23mm front, 28mm rear is the ideal for an uprated vrs.

Its only when its wet

Im thinking its more an alignment issue

I run the matching Neuspeed bars. 25mm front and 28mm rear.

To say my suspension is still standard they're amazing! Gets my vote.

ah well then as its only when its wet, its no problem as we do live in a dry country afterall! ;)

+1

That is what I have and superb

I have the KW 22mm front, set at highest stiffness, and then the KW 25mm rear. This set is apparently the same as the eibach kit. It feels pretty good; but then i changed the springs and dampers and polybushed the car all at the same time, so I cant necessarily tell you what the effect was in isolation. What i can say was that both ARBs fit well and seem well made, plus they are painted in a pretty smart yellow colour.
