Just had a fellow member round to do some coding tweeks to his brand new Fabia, ive got a genuine Micro Can cable and the latest release of VCDS, when i go to set up, VCDS is showing Can is 'OK' but when i try to scan ANY controllers there's no communication?....any ideas?....

I think that the 5J Fabia uses the K line for diagnostics and not CAN, hence the no communications.

Have you tried using the Beta version of VCDS? It is highly reommended for 2013 and newer cars.
