Does anybody know much about sky remote controls?

Have cancelled sky (just using the free stuff)

So can't really ask them now and I cannot find the manuals

The remote could control the TV as well as the skybox

But suddenly it does not

Is works fine with the sky box but dothing happens with the TV now

I have changed the batteries btw

Do you have to program the TV into the remote when you first get it?

(Misuses had it before I met her)

Anybody got any ideas

If the batteries run out, doesn't it lose any settings for your TV?

I had a message on my sky box a few weeks ago when using the remote - told me to replace them asap or lose any info stored on it (obviously related to the TV)

Yeah you lose the programmed info Steve.

When you change batteries you get a short period to get the old ones out and put the new ones in.
