Anyone good with EOS roofs?

Featured Replies

Boss' EOS is playing up.  Roof kind of gets about half way through its motion, and it stops, system error comes up on the dash and you can hear a motor buzzing in the boot area.  It goes back shut OK.

Fault on VCDS was 02805 System Interference....?!  What? haha!

A quick Google throws up this video:

It could be a starting point to see what the sensors are reading and at which point the roof stops working.

Otherwise, it's off to the dealers.

Usually a leaking roof on an eos! Strange :/

Hmnm, that video didn't come up for me.  Good shout.  might show up something playing up in the bits when it gets stuck.

Reminded me of a post by tech1e.

Do you know why they give you an umbrella with the Eos, tell you what buy one and find out.

Its the only way to stay dry in the rain, roof up or down, makes no odds

Eos' are wimmins cars, tell him to chop it in. HTH

He's a tart and loves his summer driving top down....  He probably will admit to such as well if ever challenged.

Don't worry, he's been road testing Skodas with a view to change. ;)   Didn't like the Yeti though, but only because he doesn't really need/want a 4x4 type truck.

Is that the more reliable method for opening the EOS roof?! ;)

Guaranteed opening first time.

Nothing on the instructions about closing.... :bandit:
