Bolero radio octavia vrs

Featured Replies

I know this may have been covered but can't find an answer.

Just bought a octy vrs ltd ed with what I believe is a bolero radio Bluetooth unit.

Question is

Will it take IPhone iPod connection ? And will it have telephone connectivity. ?

Cheers Andy

As for the ipod question, it will if it came with an MDI. I also have the LE and no MDI, but maybe the first owner was tight arse. It'll be a wide electronic look connector in your glovebox if you have one, but they can be retrofitted for around £100 ish. As for bluetooth and phone connectivity, see my previous answer, but expect to pay around £200 plus for all the bits.

I was tempted to fit the MDI, but  to be honest, I'n quite happy with just the SD card as as I don't own an ipod and I'd only have to transfer the music from my SD card to a memory stick to use with the same interface! I'm currently dabbling with the idea of the OEM bluetooth, but I may just get a decent parrot kit for around £120.

Hope this helps!

PS, email these guys http://www.carsystems.pl/ about what bluetooth system to use, they seem to know their stuff. You can always just browse ebay too if you find out what kit to use. Same goes for the MDI too (plenty of threads here about MDI, try looking at my previous threads).

PPS, I love how our profile pics are virtually the same.
