Is there only one power socket in the VRS?

Featured Replies

Just fitted my dash cam, always thought there were 2 but can't find the second one, mainly to use a sat nav and the can at the same time

Am I not looking in the correct place or is there really only just one??

Just one

Just one.  It's one reason I hardwired mine into the car.  I have a 3 way splitter which allows multiple charging from the one point.

MkI Kombi's if specced have a 12V oulet in the boot. It's possible to piggyback a 12V supply from the fuse panel

Thanks

I'll have to order a power socket adaptor

At least that can be fitted elsewhere, having the original one next to the handbrake is a bit awkward

Awkward? It's a chuffing ball ache if the sat-nav lead won't reach :D Skoda never did move it from the handbrake though :(

Same on the Mk2 then??

it's not too bad for me because I only plug my sat nav into it and the connector is very thin so doesn't get in the way of the handbrake, wire is also long enough

I actually thought there was a second one in the glovebox until today

Runs out to check the boot for a power supply.
