Did some mk1 vrs come with the larger intake as standard? i have a 55 with the blt engine and noticed it has the large intake which i have seen as an upgrade from the ibiza pd 160 but my car was completely standard, so has someone urgraded it at some point but returned to standard leaving this pipe on or did later cars come with it?

Somebody has changed it.

i can only then assume the whole car has been returned to standard as i see no reason for fitting this alone and i have sent the ecu file away and had it confirmed as being standard.

Somebody will have read it gives more power so fitted one.

 

The fact it doesnt, certainly on a standard car is irellivent to some peoples thought process.

yeh i guess thats more then likely the story tbh as i have virtually all paperwork and never any mention of any tuning
