Hi all, I have just picked up my Octavia and was wondering how to change the DVD region. When i put in a DVD it comes up as wrong region code ut i am using genuine DVD (region 4) i would find it ridiculous if Aust delivered cars are set to the wrong zone???

I'm guessing you have a Columbus unit fitted as it plays DVD's.

It is possible to change the region code with VCDS, but I don't think it can be changed within the Columbus itself.

If you bought it from a dealer, go and ask them to check it and change it to the correct region.

    No worries. You would think that it would already be set to the correct region.
