Featured Replies

whats the best place to buy 1 of the above. and also looking for a green filter was wondering is it the same green filter whatever intake you use???

as you can see i havnt a clue :confused: just want more BHP :):thumbup::finger:

Thinking of going for a digi box as its a bit less power than a remap but wouldnt that be less stress on the clutch, my save a few quid

The SEAT PD160 intake pipe is available from SEAT.

Green filter is the same for all of the diesel Fabias regardless of intake pipe, try JBS for the filter.

how do i go about getting it from seat.

Err go into a SEAT dealer, walk upto the parts counter and say

"Hello, I would like both parts to of the intake pipe of a 160 bhp diesel Ibiza Cupra please".

Easy to fit. Whilst you're at it, get the other bits from SEAT too -

* strut

* PD160 intake (already on your list as that's what the post is about :rofl: )

* sound absorbing kit - if you want it :)

I am really not being funny, but there is soo much information and threads on this subject.

If you've managed to find information to ask about the PD160 intake then presumably you would of come accross where you can buy the "SEAT" intake from :confused:

Personally I think the clue is in the name ;)

Yep less stress on the engine and also the clutch, but still more stress than standard! Dragon digi boxes come highly recommended, although there are other reputable ones out there but they're a bit pricier. Unfortunately, Dragon are no longer trading on eBay so expect to pay a bit more :(

Read with interest a number of these Threads , however all mention the Fabia , would the same setup , Seat 160 intake and Green Filter work on the Octavia 130 BHP . Have one of these and this looks like the less invasive mod , as do not fancy fitting remap or digital box whilst still under warranty .

Im afraid not, the intake system is different on the Octavia.

You should be able to find out which filter to use though. Give JBS a ring, tell them the car / engine you've got, they'll tell you which filter to get.
