Hi guys was cleaning around my engine bay earlier I removed engine cover to find oil sitting around egr gasket. I'm concerned about this and would like act asap on this I'm just wondering if Im losing boost pressure from this.

While looking again I've found the top intercooler pipe loose no leak but pleny of play in it is it worth replacing seal and clips

the top intercooler pipe is always a little "loose" ,mine always had a little oil leaking from the egr gasket i imagine the gasket has **** its self...

Sounds like another common fault then but would like to hear from other owners for there opinion on this matter. Thanks c4sh for ur input

yes, i get i trickle of oil that comes from my egr valve, sometimes i remove the pipework and give it a clean with a rag. regular thing now, thinking of changing the egr valve and give it a good clean. 

Yeah may be it worth getting a new gasket and giving the egr a good clean with a bit of carb cleaner also thinking of replacing top intercooler seals and clips

i'm going to give mine a clean tomorrow, got 2 days off work.  

The egr valve pumps out dirty water. Its soot mixed with sprays of water. They all do it. Not got a clue why??
