Octavia 1.9tdi side lights not working.

Hi all,

I have a 55 plate Octavia 1.9tdi elegance.  Neither of my sidelights are working and I am getting the warning light on the dash to confirm this.  I have checked bulbs fuses, and connectors for the bulbs and light clusters. I have also checked for earth/power at the sidelights and there is no power and no earth.  This leads me to think it is either a problem in the control unit or a faulty earth. 

Does anyone know where the earth for the sidelights is? and also where the control box for the lights is?

Any other help or guidance would be gratefully received.
