Yes. And even multilingual if you change language in setup to different than English.

Works quite well - generally I don't like voice control so, I just check it if exist today :-)

Tested it today Dellfan, and it's really impressive. You can program Sat Nav and also make phone calls from in-device contacts using it.

 

It takes time, but I find it easier than fiddling with the touch screen on busy roads.

It works - sometimes. I think it has trouble with my northern accent!

I have trouble with Siri and my northern accent. I try an American one or even cockney sometimes but that Siri knows I'm pretending and still refuses to co operate! I wait to see how "Kit" responds when she's delivered hopefully in September

Tbh the Octavia 2 voice control is better than siri, the new Google now is much better.

somehow today I managed to mute it, but since then I have not found a command that does it. Any- sensible -  ideas????

I had the same problem the other day. Ideally I'd like the sat nav voice to speak less and pause the music rather than talk over the top of it!

 

All I've been able to manage is from the settings menu of the set nav, turn the volume of the satnav down to zero. To be honest the sat nav is really good for an incar system but I still prefer running the tomtom on my iphone.

Cant access the voice-control, only getting a error (Amundsen, Canton etc).

 

Is it an option, or is it something to call my dealer about?

 

If you're using an Amundsen - I just touch the voice button on the unit itself or the voice button on the steering wheel (Elegance model)

If either of those are giving you an error message then I'd have to say off to the dealer with it!

The spoken words FROM the satnav is supposed to speak in Norwegian, but do not work at the moment. There will be an software update.

It works ok but, it doesn't deal with swear words very well ! WTF
