Octavia IIs for Kent Doctors

Featured Replies

Looks like the out of hours doctor's service in the Maidstone area is replacing their Vectras with Octy IIs - seen two of them now (or maybe the same one twice).

As an aside, police Octy vRS estate gave me a fright this evening; was waiting to turn right on to a main road when all of a sudden he came up behind and put on siren and lights and then shot off down the road at great speed...

Ah great this is where i get a phone call in work tomorrow saying MEDDOC want to transfer their MPC car computers :)

Hmm, don't work for Adastra by any chance do you?

And isn't Maidstone MaidDOC and MedDOC next door?

LOL yes...... :) - youre right that its Maiddoc, thankfully checked this morning and they're not one of ours. They're part of on call care.

Meddoc operates for the rest of Medway

How do you know of Adastra out of interest?

P.S as you can tell by the time of my previous post I wasnt thinking about work clearly

Yeah, thought so... IcoSys still look after On Call Care don't they?

I know everything ;-)

Actually it's because I work for a large North Eastern OOH Provider... And I used to work for a small hardware supplier based in Suffolk.

They still do provide to on call care. You wouldnt work for someone called LCD or west yorks?

What was the small hardware provider in suffolk called then ;)

Try again... I said North Eastern ;)

Ask around the ex-Knight Owl boys if they know anyone who works for an OOHP now who used to be on the supplier side of the fence with them back in the old days when they were based in sunny Norfolk...

I'm sure one or two of them will know me :D

Hmm thats possibly NYED then if its large, or NDUC if your very north eastern :), however looking at our BMS (and presuming by your ebay name that your name is Dan) we have got a Dan under each organisation, but no surname...... :)

I'm being a bit general there because you may even be working at a spoke of on of these :)

I'll have to have an ask around, our KOM boys are spread about the company but KOM is still going strong and working with Adastra. We've got about 5 of them from the KOM outfit here, 2 developer, and 3 support (one of which is now a PM)

NDUC is the one. But far north-eastern is a bit much... might be 'far' to you but it's the only north east we've got... NYEDs is nearly in London :)

I'm Technical Manager here now, so I still speak to all the Owl boys... when I get a chance.

Thats very true  Stuck down here in my southern box. as you can tell my geography is poor - thats why i have a comms hub map at my desk .

The owl guys are pretty decent blokes here, i get all the owl licence upgrade requests to deal with from the tech sales side - i'm not strictly a salesman, just an ex IT admin who creates systems for ppl :D

I'm thinking i may have even spoken to you..... lol
